I Won 3 Emmys!!!

I just won three Emmy awards: one for writing, one for News Image Campaign and one for special effects make-up. The official event photos aren't out yet, but these pictures were posted by a woman taking a few at the Southeast Regional Emmy Awards. I'll post some that I took later on.

A time lapse spot that I shot for WLOS in Asheville, NC.

Continuing with the year of awesome videos, I've started dabbling in time lapse. This is my favorite spot so far. I went out and shot night after night, experimenting with settings until I had something I really loved. I plan on doing another time lapse night time shoot to promote our 11pm news, but that won't be for a while. I have another spot that I'm working on now that will take a while and I need to get my camera professionally cleaned before I shoot more nighttime stuff.

News 13 Image Spot

This is the Mack daddy of promotions. Once a year we do a news image promo. The image promo basically promotes our news product. It’s a big deal and this year was no exception. Dave, my comrade at arms, and I ran all over Western North Carolina collecting footage, we took a news truck out and did some time-lapse shots around downtown, we went on location with our news team as they worked, we even arranged a rooftop shoot with our news talent. In this video there’s a thirty second spot, a fifteen second, and a morning image spot. Enjoy!
